Memorial Day Weekend

Well, we decided to surprise my parent's in Texas and made a mad-dash and drove to Texas. It ended up being a 1228.3 mile trip from our house to there!!! IT took us 18 hours!!! We left at 630pm EST and arrived at 130pm CST. They were SHOCKED!!!!! My mother called me at 530am CST and i acted like i was asleep, little did she know that we were between Birmingham Alabama and meridian Mississippi!! So, when we arrived at the Lake, we drove up in my Grandparents driveway and They were SHOCKED!!!!! We then had my Grandmother call my Mother at work and ask here how her lunhc went, then i got on the phone and said HELLO!!! She was Freaking OUT!!! We had a very good time and saw a few friends that we don't get to see very often. We started back at 430am CST on Monday morning and made really good time till we got to Birmingham AL and there was a wreck on Interstate 20 East. It turned out to be a death and we were stopped in traffic for 2 hours!!

Traffic accident victim identified:

Authorities on Tuesday identified a woman killed in a Memorial Day traffic accident in Birmingham as Mary Frances Miller. Miller, 57, of Midfield, died in a three-car wreck Monday afternoon in the northbound lanes of Interstate 20/59 near Arkadelphia Road. An Alabama state trooper was injured in the wreck. The accident shut down interstate lanes for more than three hours and traffic was rerouted off the interstate at the Arkadelphia Road exit. The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the accident, but spokesmen for the police and state troopers on Tuesday declined to release details on the wreck. Trooper Lt. Keith Kelley was reportedly responding to a DUI call when the accident happened. He was treated and released from an area hospital, but isn’t expected to return to duty for at least several days. Well, that blew our schedule and we did not get to Our house till 430am EST today. I am very tired, but wanted to say hello...

Amerikan Idull....

"More than 63 million votes were cast, "more than any president in the history of our country has received," Seacrest said.
Despite the lack of offstage drama, or because of it, this edition of “American Idol” was the most-watched yet. Compared to last year, the show was up 14 percent in total viewers with an average weekly audience of 30.3 million — impressive growth for an established program.
The Tuesday and Wednesday episodes routinely ranked as the top-rated TV shows, drawing 28 million or more viewers. The series also is seen via delayed broadcast or satellite delivery in more than 150 other countries.

Well, that about says it all. Amerika cares more about what goes on TV than what is happening with our Nation and President. Amerika will vote for a damm TV show, but will not vote for a public election that decides local, state and National officials. What a bunch of mindless persons Amerika as a society had become. Our president is chosen by much less of the population than what voted fo this bunch of crap. We care more about Brad-jolina and Tom-kat than the fate of our well being. IT is unbelievable where the media has taken the mindless patrons of our once great country. I call it the Dumbing of America. Where cartoons talk down to our children and everyone wants to be a different race then what they were born into. To HEll in a handbasket... Babylon the Geat...just to name a few.

Racial Diversity...

I live in the United States of America. I am an American. I am a white person. I live in Virginia. But first and foremost, i am an American. Now, we all know that America was and is a melting pot of diverse ethnic peoples. But, when they come to live in America, are they not also Americans? I do not think that it matters if you are White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, or Oriental, only that you chose to live here Legally and that you call yourself and American. Why then do we dilute our National identity by breaking it up into racially segrrated names like Asian-American, African-American, Mexican-American and so on and so forth? Do we not all live in the same land? and same Country? I my neighborhood, we are very diverse with whites, blacks, asians, indians and latinos and we all visit and do not ware Ethnic titles. SO what I am getting at is WHY do we have to dilute our country to satisfy a certain racial group? In Europe for one place, i have never heard of someone being called an Africa-European... I think that we are all American that are here LEGALY and that want a better place to live and work in PEACE. I think that is stupid for us to label and segrate OUR NATIONAL identity as Americans into Racial Nametags. In the end, it will only weaken our society and we will become no more than a Rich 3rd world country. Just my American Opinion...

An then There was Marriage...

I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first

name was Always.

The last fight was my fault. My wife asked, "What's

on the TV?"  I said, "Dust!"

In the beginning, God created earth and rested. Then

God created man and rested. Then God created woman.

Since then, neither God nor man has rested.

Why do men die before their wives? They want to.

What is the difference between a dog and a fox? About

5 drinks.

Do you know the punishment for bigamy? Two mothers-in-

law.

Young Son: Is it true, Dad, I heard that in some parts

of Africa a man doesn't know his wife until he marries

her? Dad: That happens in every country, son.

A man inserted an 'ad' in the classified: "Wife Wanted".

Next day he received a hundred letters. They all said

the same thing: "You can have mine."

The most effective way to remember your wife's birthday

is to forget it once.

First guy (proudly): "My wife's an angel! Second guy:

"You're lucky, mine's still alive."

How do most men define marriage? An expensive way to

get laundry done for free.

Then there was a man who said, "I never knew what real

happiness was until I got married; and then it was too

late."

A little boy asked his father, "Daddy, how much does

it cost to get married?" The father replied, "I don't

know son, I'm still paying!"

Marriage is a 3-ring circus: Engagement ring, wedding

ring, and suffering.

May 5....Cinco De Mayo...De Waro...

I wonder if Cinco De Mayo will become a violent as Margi Gras was in New Orleans?? I mean with all the Illegal Immigrant uprisings in the US, I bet the San Antoniw will be like a WAR ZONE on other Races. Cinco de Mayo is a date of great importance for the Mexican and Chicano communities. It marks the victory of the Mexican Army over the French at the Battle of Puebla. Althought the Mexican army was eventually defeated, the "Batalla de Puebla" came to represent a symbol of Mexican unity and patriotism. With this victory, Mexico demonstrated to the world that Mexico and all of Latin America were willing to defend themselves of any foreign intervention. Especially those from imperialist states bent on world conquest. That day and has absolutely NOTHING to do the the USA or ANY holidays that we have. It seems like it would be a good time to start violence here in the USA given its importance to their culture and not ours.

I see kind of like this email that was sent to me from a friend...

Dear President Bush:

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrange ments. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my ki ds to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to ha ve a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy. I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico.

I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. However, if he gives you any trouble, just i nvite him to go quail hunting with your V.P. Thank you so much for your kind help.
Sincerely,
US Citizen

Hootie...

It was going to be a family thing, my wife and daughter, with some friends from work, but the weather prevented us, so we all did not go.

Entertainment Tonight...

It is only me that thinks that Mary Hart is looking very plastic? Sort of like Joan Rivers? That she has been tuck, sucked and stuck one too many times? I remember that a few years ago, she looked very nice, but the more I watch the show now, the more that she looks plastic…

Bob's Thoughts

This week...
We will be attending Hootie and The Blowfish concert at Inslake Pavilion on Wednesday. It is like the Woodlands in Houston, only not as big as that concert site. It should be a great show, weather permitting. I also hope to have some info about my interview this week or next week. I am hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. That is am old Russian proverb. Frontline Assemble had that in a song called Provision. Well I will post later this week about some more stuff.

Bob's Thoughts

Bob's Thoughts

Dear BLOG,

You know how it seams that everything you try to do is not good enough? Well, I feel like that here in Richmond. My interview went well, but I wont know anything for about 2 weeks. And "Time passes slowly for a man who waits." Richmond is the hardest job market that I have ever been. It is very clickish and if you are south of the river, that is bad, even though the house might cost the same as if you were north and west of the river. IT is a very tough market to get employment it. I have never had a problem getting a job across the country, but here it is very hard. I am very discouraged and upset by this. It is difficult to keep your chin up as they say, or "something will come your way" Well, I am still waiting...

Mexifornia and The United States Of Americo...

My gradfather Cowboy Stringer emailed me this speech. i am posting it now for all to read if they so choose.

We know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado. In thatcontext his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was animmigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled tocapacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliantcollege professor by the name of Victor Hansen Davis talked about hislatest book, Mexifornia," explaining how immigration - both legal andillegal - was destroying the entire state of California. He said itwould march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of TheAmerican Dream.
Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood upand gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audiencesat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction ofthe United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is notthat hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages oftime. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and falland that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.'"
Here is how they do it," Lamm said:

"First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual ormulti-lingual and bicultural country." History shows that nonation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or morecompeting languages and cultures. It is a blessing for anindividual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to bebilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: "Thehistories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do notassimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy."Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, and Lebanon all face crises of nationalexistence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence.Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion.France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans.".

Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would makeit an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are nocultural differences. I would make it an article of faith thatthe Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice anddiscrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec'without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: "Theapparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment mighthave been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without thedominance that once dictated ethnocentricity and what it meant to be anAmerican, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to holdus together." Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keeptheir own language and culture. I would replace the melting potmetaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that wehave various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing theirdifferences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group theleast educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would havethis second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high. school."

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get bigfoundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would investin ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.'I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success wasthe fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blamingall minority failure on the majority population."

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dualcitizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity overunity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diversepeople worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, whenthey are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stablesociety is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity ittakes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. TheGreeks believed that they belonged to the same race; theypossessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the samegods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened the ir liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strongenough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographicalconditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum"From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasison the 'pluribus'. Instead of the 'Unum,' we will balkanize Americaas surely as Kosovo."

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits; make ittaboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would finda word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stoppeddiscussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America abilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the largefoundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next makeit impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop amantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must alwaysbe good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignorethe cumulative impact of millions of them."
In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow.Profound silence followed.

Finally he said,. "Lastly, I wouldcensor Victor Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. Itexposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America.deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.".
There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like anominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American inthat room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceedingmethodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today.Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are rippingthe foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness.Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilati on aregrowing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into theThird World as corporations create a Third World in. America -take note of California and other states - to date, ten millionillegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book"1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministryof Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength.".

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone atthe conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy isdeeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigrationmonster stopped within three years, it will rage like a Californiawildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

DMA...Network...Masters...Combos...With no Fires!!!

WOW!!! What a day at work!! I learned how to make accounts with combonaions that link to different accounts. I am learning sooo much stuff that it is amazing, very intersive!! I amenjoying it thou, I feel that I have learned a huge amount of information and that I am getting a grasp of the system. The building i work at is very nice. The floor has 2 break rooms with microwaves, Fridges, sinks and coke/snack machines. Sondra tells me of her break rooms and gets jealous. I guess that, from what she says, their facilities are not as complete as ours. The security to get into the building is very TIGHT! Badge in, badge out...It is cubicle hell!! It reminds me of Office Space and there are some colorful characters their. Everyone walking around with MP3 players, and all have headphones on at their computers...So, I bring my MP3 player and listen to music as well!!
Enough for now...

OMFG...South Park...CheF

Here is the article:
Singer-turned-voice-over-actor Isaac Hayes has quit the animated South Park series, citing the show's satirical depiction of religion. In a statement, Hayes commented, "There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry toward religious beliefs ... begins." However, series co-creator Matt Stone promptly issued a statement accusing Hayes of being primarily angered by the show's decision to lampoon the Church of Scientology, of which Hayes is a member. and its celebrity members. "In ten years and over 150 episodes of South Park, Isaac never had a problem with the show making fun of Christians, Muslim, Mormons or Jews," Stone said in the statement that Hayes "got a sudden case of religious sensitivity when it was his religion featured on the show.

I cant believe what they did to him on the season opener tonight!! I guess he got what he deserved. It appears that there is some BAD BLOOD about him leaving the show. They made him a child molester and then they killed him. But he returned as kind of like Darth Vader but looking like Chef...WOW!! Hard Care action on South Park.

Priceless... :-)

This is my wife... She is not feeling well today and i took the chance on getting a very cute shot of her...My love :-)

The Morning After....The Pics.

Well, the pics are not that good as i had to use my Cam on my phone. It is a 1.2 mp camera. Our 4.1 mp cam broke and we have a nice Sony Cybershot with 12x digital zoom with a 512megg mem stick pro on lay a way and will get it soon. We got about 2 inches of snow on the ground. all the roads are clear except for ice and there has been lots of acccidents this morning...People loose their minds here when it snows. I just wonder how they would have taken the weather in Massachusetts? A 1-2'' snow here is nothing compared to what we had up there...

This is my last day of freedom. Tomorrow i start to work and become a productive member of society once again. It has been nice, but i am glad to be working again. I am exicited about the new job and what will come out of it for me. So having said that, i need to go and i might post some more l8ter.

Nine Inch Nails

The show was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! They played for about 1 hour 45 minuets. The opening act SUCKED!! His name was Saw Williams … I don’t really have anything to say about him. Kind of like Drum and Bass with spoken word lyrics. Very racist stuff and political stuff from a black man. His set was not put together well and he used drum machine and his “DJ” did all the beats with it.  On the other hand, Trent had a 6 piece band with a drummer, bass, lead, rhythm, and keyboard set. The visual show was one of the better shows that I have seen.

Set List:

Pinion
Mr. Self Destruct
Sin
Terrible Lie
March Of The Pigs
The Line Begins To Blur
The Frail/The Wretched
Closer (Only Time)
Burn
Gave Up
Eraser
Beside You In Time
Right Where It Belongs
Wish
Only
Every Day Is Exactly The Same
Please
Hurt
Reptile
Deep
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like A Hole

He played well and very hard.  The show went off with out a hitch and it was very tight with no mistakes that one could tell. The arrangements of the songs were very nice and he used lots of video in the show. IT is neat to see how some of the early stuff was played now with a band instead of just him. Here is also a link that will give you pictures from the show. The link is: http://www.flickr.com/photos/grizzlyadam/sets/72057594067153415/

GO to that link and you will see the light show. It was a very good show. This got me stoked and I can’t wait to go and see The Orb at the end of the month.

William Shatner - The Transformed Man

I just got a copy of this album…Very interesting! Captain Kirk, doing spoken word to 60’s classics!!! I have always heard of this album, but never been able to listen to it, so I found it..

1. King Henry The Fifth/Elegy For The Brave
2. Theme From Cyrano/Mr. Tambourine Man
3. Hamlet/It Was A Very Good Year
4. Romeo And Juliet/How Insensitive (Insensatez)
5. Spleen/Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
6. The Transformed Man

It is very interesting album, being all spoken word. It will take some time b4 I get through with this album to give a good review of it.

The Weekend....

Well, my brother came up from Duke University yesterday to stay the night with me. He is in Divinity School to become a preacher.  He is 10 years younger than me and lived in Austin most of his life. He came up and we went out to eat, then we listened to music all night for like 8 hours. WOW!! What a fun time. I guess that in my life, that was a very awesome time of bonding with my younger brother. We never got to spend much time together due to living circumstances.  We got up this morning and we cooked Steak and Shrimp, and then went to Star Bucks. After that I took him thru Downtown Richmond and he had to return to Duke this evening… We are planning to get together soon,,,,

Bob's Thoughts

Bob si pissed off and damm proud of it...

I am coming to the conclusion that this “great Land” of ours is nothing more than a sell out country to all the foreigners. Just like the ploy of the united Arid Emirates to purchase and run 6 of our ports, all companies want to see out to foreign powers. 95% of all telemarketers that call my house are from a damm call center in India. It is nice to get a person that is from Amerika on the phone to say no to. WTF are we doing with our country? Babylon indeed…
It would seem that the MTV generation doesn’t know their ass from a whole I the ground. Sell, Sell, Sell, export, export, till we are nothing more than a conglomerate of poor, broken, non-Amerikan land masses that are no better than Zimbabwe or Iraq. Where has our national pride gone, they way of 9-11? IT looked like we were going to rebound from that, but I guess not if we continue to sell out to the whole fraking world. We should close our borders and worry about us instead of everyone else. The commercials for the Christian children fund say it all, although, they should say it about Amerika instead of some 3rd world place. We have poor and people starving, except you don’t fraking Sally Struthers saying lets help our poor, hungry children starving. No, just central and south Amerika. If we can’t help ourselves, then how can we help or be expected to help the rest of the world. Our pride will be our undoing..

Bob's Thoughts

Well, it has been a while since I updated the BLOG. a lot of things has happened since I last wrote on here. Christmas happened and I also bought a new truck for myself. I lost a very old friend due to different views., it was not that much of a loss in retrospect. I still work at rentway and I am the account manager for the store. We went home to Texas in February and we had a great time. Chelsea was sick the whole time we were there and now Texas am sick also. I had a gretat talk with Jimmy Freeman who is living back in Jasper. He came out to visit with my fam the last day that we were going to be in Jtown. My family has had a lot of medical problems the last 5-6 months and i pray that they all get better and continue to heal! I hope to hear from everyone i the near future. This is alll for now.

Halloween!!!

Well, we had a part for Chelsea lastnight. She had 5 of her friends over to spend the night and they had a BLAST!!! We had them several activities to do like Play Ping-Pong and Air Hockey as well as we made them do a Frear Factor set of events. The had a fun time and they all slept in the basement. IT was very nasty weather lastnight...foggy and rainy!! YUK!! Today it is very nice, windy, but sunny. It is supposed to get cold again this week and it looks like this is going to be our last day of seasonable weather for the next several months as the longrange forcaste predicts freezing rain on Saturday. I am counting down the days until my Mother gets Here!!! She will be landing on the 13th of November; Saturday week, and will be staying through the end of November...18 days. We are going to NYC for the parade and we will have Thanksgiving dinner here back in Mass. This is all for now.

Bob's Thoughts For October 7, 2004

Bob's Thoughts
WEll, it looks like we are going to be in for a bad winter this year. Here is the prediction for the long-range forecast for the New England area:

The northeastern U.S., southeastern Canada and areas south to the Mid-Atlantic States should be quite snowy from late October into the early winter period. This region should also see frequent snowstorms and colder than normal temperatures from mid-December through the end of January, especially over New England. From late January through March, northern New England will continue to have snow, but not as frequent. Southern New England to the Mid-Atlantic States will be turning drier and a bit warmer February and into early-to-mid March.

I am sure glad that I bought a snowblower!! It seems that I am going to need it!! On Wednesday for this week, I woke up and the temp was 27 degrees!!! That is Freaking Cold!! The hi for that day only got to 52! BURR!!! In other news, My mother is comming to here on November 13 and staying until December!! I cant wait to see her and us all spend some time together. We have not been able to spend time like that in very many years. We are going to go see the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York also!!
I have put up some wedding pics on my website that most of you have not been able to see! So, go look at them. The URL is so go take a look. I need to get some stuff done, so I will put more up here later.
That is all for now.

Bob's Thoughts
Well, the weather took a dump on us yesterday and today!! That hurricane that hit Florida last weekend came through here and was supposed to move out; it did not move out and instead, it joined with a cold front that was supposed to hit us last night. So, it has rained for the last 2 days and it is 50 degrees with a low tonight of 40. Winter is coming here to the north very Fast!! We really never had a summer here. We only had about 1 week of 90-degree weather and most days, it was 75 - 80 degrees. Not really that bad if you ask me. More later.

Bob's Thoughts
This will be an update to my Blog...
we are nearly settled in to our house!! It is going to be very nice when it is all sorted out and pictures hung on the wall. I went to our basement and cleaned it up, wired electrical outlets and vacuumed the floors. I wish that you could have seen all the dog hair that i got out of the floor!! It was gobs and gobs of that stuff!!! The previous owners had a very large DOG and were not worried about the hair, i guess. So i went and put carpet fresh and Lysol on the floor and vacuumed some more!! We are going to have a Halloween party for Chelsea and 11 of her friends on October 30 and they will sleep over that night also...WOW 12 little screaming girls that night! The joys of parenthood!! The previous owners did not put ANY electrical outlets in the basement, so i am going to once again have to finish out our basement, but not until next year. I think that it is going to be a Very HARD winter here. We went to Sears and bought a ridding lawnmower, 42'' deck, mulching capabilities with a 18 hp Briggs engine on it. We also bought a Snow Blower.....Woo Hooo...5am clearing the driveway!! Well, that is all for now,

Bob's Thoughts

Bob's Thoughts

Well, What a few days it has been. We went out to eat last night at a very nice seafood restaurant here in Denver with one of Sondra's work friends and it was very nice. Strangely enough, it was in a building I helped build! Then today, her cam over to our house and I cooked catfish that I got from my grandfather in Texas that last time we went to Texas. We will be coming back to Denver on the 31st of July to go to a company picnic that John Hawk is throwing. I am going to do all the cooking for the event...Steaks and Burgers...Yum Yum!! IT will be a great time. John's nephew is Ethan Haws, the actor. He said that he was going to invite him to the party also. I got my basement mudded and taped today and tomorrow, my contractors will come over and texture it and finish the basement. It has turned out very nice and I will hate to leave our house now.....The weather today was very AWSOME!!! It did not get above 80 today and it is going to be about 50 tonight....Love this weather.
Well that is all for now......

Sheetrockers.....

Bob's Thoughts

WEll, this evening, my contractors came to my house and they are putting the dry-wall in our basement. we had the base, ment Framed out about 2 months ago and we used metal studs insted of wood(cheeper0 that way. A friend and myself did most of the electrical and i finished all of it today. SO, this will give our house an extra bedroom and a pantry, and what would have been an extra bathroom. We are going to leave the bathroom "ropughed in" and not finish it like the pantry and the bedroom. It put Cat5e nettworking cable and Cat3 for the phones and also RG5 for the TV. Also, there is a Cat5e cable running down from the 2nd story from my router to give the comp in the basement internet acccess. A nice neat little prog that i use to remotely admin all of our boxes is called RealVNC. it works like PCanywhere, except, it is much faster. If you are interested in this prog. contact me and i can give u the url.
All for now......

Returning from business trip.....

Bob's Thoughts

Well, this evening, I had to pick her up from a trip from Boston. Her being my wife, Sondra. She got in @ 7.15 pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) for those of you that don't know what I meant. There was some bad weather in and around Denver this evening and it totally missed Highlands Ranch, as usual. We really need the rain. It looked like we got a trace..Like always. It is nice the Sondra is home, but she will be leaving next Tuesday for Boston again and then we will be going there on that Friday when chel gets out of school.
More laters.
