DSC07239
This is a Camellia bloom that i saw while in Texas last week. It had rained and i used my F58AM flash with the Omin-Bounce 580 diffuser to get the photo. It was taken at night. I love the Vivid Colors that are brought out in the flower from the flash. Using this lens at f/10 really made the photo crisp!! It is very sharp and yet it still has some Bokeh in it.

DSC06312: Waiting For Someone
This is the guitar and effects processor used by Patric Sullivan. At the time of this photo, Patric was playing his keyboard. I like this photo because of the anticipation that it has. The empty chair beside the equipment says "come play me, i am waiting for you!"

DSC05678: Tractor 1.0
I wonder what the story is about this tractor? To me, it looks like it was driven to this spot and that is where it stated. It really did not look in that bad of shape, but there must be something wrong with it to be left out like this. It is strange how the grass and brush is only growing in some places around it but not others. Will it rust like so many of the other items on this piece of land?

DSC05706: Fallen Barn 1.0
This was a neat old barn on the property today. The barn's rood had totally fallen in and collapsed to the floor.I love the perspective that i used to take this photo. I was using the 18-70mm Kit Lens that came with the camera due to the wide angle that i could get with it. It was a gloomy, cold day taking the photos today.

DSC05681: Old Truck 1.0
I went out today with Todd Shaak and we went to a very old house that is falling down. There were lots of neat old things to shoot all over the property. This old truck was just one of many items to shoot.
I decided to use the 18-70mm lens so i could get better angles than if i had used the 50mm lens. It was about 40 degrees and very cold with lots of fog in the area.

The Foyer...
All were taken when i first bought the camera. These are photos of our old home.
I did this photo not really knowing anything about the camera when i took it. It turned out really neat with the contrast in light and dark areas.

I love the Bokeh that this photo has. It is really interesting to use this set up as you are shooting in the blind so to speak. Really none of the focal and aperture settings are correct on the on the EXIF data because the camera does not know the other lens is on it. It has a very selective Depth Of Field with a very small in-focus area.

DSC04376: Componon 1.17
I took this Macro under my bedside Lamp. The bulb gives out a yellow color and that is why the silver bracelet looks almost bronze or brass, not silver like it is. I did not use a flash in this photo but still i used my Kango hat to lay it on. I was about 6-8 inches above the item.

I used a white sheet of paper as a diffuse for this photo. I placed the bracelet on my Kango Hat. It made for a very neat macro photo. I am amazed at how much magnification the little lens gives to the camera. I was about 6-8 inches from the bracelet when i took this photo.

DSC04296: Light Set 2.7
I was outside shooting at some lights that we decorated a tree with. We placed green lights on the tree as you can see and we placed red on a tree that is about 15 feet behind it. So i focused on the green lights and let the red ones go out of focus. I guess that you could call this a "Night Macro" as i was about 4 feet away from the green lights and the 300mm focal length is in the Macro range of my lens.
