WEll, this evening, my contractors came to my house and they are putting the dry-wall in our basement. we had the base,ment Framed out about 2 months ago and we used metal studs insted of wood(cheeper0 that way. A friend and myself did most of the electrical and i finished all of it today. SO, this will give our house an extra bedroom and a pantry, and what would have been an extra bathroom. We are going to leave the bathroom "ropughed in" and not finish it like the pantry and the bedroom. It put Cat5e nettworking cable and Cat3 for the phones and also RG5 for the TV. Also, there is a Cat5e cable running down from the 2nd story from my router to give the comp in the basement internet acccess. A nice neat little prog that i use to remotely admin all of our boxes is called RealVNC. it works like PCanywhere, except, it is much faster.
