Interview Today with Qimonda Semiconductors...
I had one of my most hard interviews that I have ever had today. There were a total of 4 people in the room. @were on conference call and 2 were live in the room. They asked me lots of questions about Electrical and Electronics. I answered them to my fullest knowledge. Some answers were hard to remember because my electronically training was over 10 years ago!! I remember lots though, I am very optimistic about the interview. I will let everyone know.

WORK @ UVA JPJ Arena this week...
These are pictures of me working nearly 100 feet above the ground at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA Where i have been working for the last 2 months. I was pulling wire for the window treatments on the upper tier of the arena. The picture does not do justice to the lenght of the span of windows. it is over 100 feet long across them. I was tied off to a life-line and crawling around on a 4 foot wide window ledge made of sheetrock!! The photo of me and the other person is my boss that i work with. I was just glad that it was cloudy weather as it would be hotter than all get out on those East facing windows. We are just about through with this job and i will be working in Culpepper Virginia for the next several weeks. I am tired and need to get some sleep tonight as i am working all weekend.

Family Visiting Vacation...
That Saturday, we got up and went to Virginia Beach. We had a wonderful time. we got there around 10am and left near 4pm. It was very nice and sunny with dolphins and crabs everywhere. A lady told me that there are over 800 dolphins that live in the waters off Virginia Beach!!! I got to see a few of them jump out fo the water!!!
There were also SOOO many Ghost Crabs living on that beach! I have NEVER seen so many in one place. I got some good shots of them:
They were VERY FAST. I chased then along the shores and they could keep up with me running. It was very funny.
On Sunday, we got up and went to Mt Vernon, George Washington's Home. It was Incredible. We toured his estate and it was awe inspiring!! We were so close to DC, that we had to take them to see some of the sights. My grandmother had been and we have been there 3 times. We will go back again as you cannot due it justice in a few hours.
Just a note people, IF you see text that is a different color, click it, it is a hyperlink to more information about the stuff that I am babbling about.
On Monday, I went to work in Charlottesville and that afternoon, I met them and we went to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's house.
He was an incredible man and was our 3rd President as well as an inventor.
He had many modifications to his house.
From his house, you can see the college, UVA, which he helped start and design.
I took Wednesday off and we went to Brown's Island in Richmond. It was a Fort during the civil war and it is not a park with a music venue on it.
They left on Thursday morning to return to Texas...
We all had a good time and miss them.

Faith Hill & Tim McGraw
We saw them last night at the Richmond Coliseum on their Soul to Soul 2006 Tour. IT was a good show. I really did not know what to expect! They played for over 3 hours and had very good musicianship. Faith came on 1st and Then Tim closed the show down. I enjoyed the show. IT seems that they are the only Star couple that can stay together…Time will tell.

Memorial Day Weekend
Traffic accident victim identified:
Authorities on Tuesday identified a woman killed in a Memorial Day traffic accident in Birmingham as Mary Frances Miller. Miller, 57, of Midfield, died in a three-car wreck Monday afternoon in the northbound lanes of Interstate 20/59 near Arkadelphia Road. An Alabama state trooper was injured in the wreck. The accident shut down interstate lanes for more than three hours and traffic was rerouted off the interstate at the Arkadelphia Road exit. The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the accident, but spokesmen for the police and state troopers on Tuesday declined to release details on the wreck. Trooper Lt. Keith Kelley was reportedly responding to a DUI call when the accident happened. He was treated and released from an area hospital, but isn’t expected to return to duty for at least several days. Amerikan Idull....
Despite the lack of offstage drama, or because of it, this edition of “American Idol” was the most-watched yet. Compared to last year, the show was up 14 percent in total viewers with an average weekly audience of 30.3 million — impressive growth for an established program.
The Tuesday and Wednesday episodes routinely ranked as the top-rated TV shows, drawing 28 million or more viewers. The series also is seen via delayed broadcast or satellite delivery in more than 150 other countries.
Well, that about says it all. Amerika cares more about what goes on TV than what is happening with our Nation and President. Amerika will vote for a damm TV show, but will not vote for a public election that decides local, state and National officials. What a bunch of mindless persons Amerika as a society had become. Our president is chosen by much less of the population than what voted fo this bunch of crap. We care more about Brad-jolina and Tom-kat than the fate of our well being. IT is unbelievable where the media has taken the mindless patrons of our once great country. I call it the Dumbing of America. Where cartoons talk down to our children and everyone wants to be a different race then what they were born into. To HEll in a handbasket... Babylon the Geat...just to name a few.

Racial Diversity...
I live in the United States of America. I am an American. I am a white person. I live in Virginia. But first and foremost, i am an American. Now, we all know that America was and is a melting pot of diverse ethnic peoples. But, when they come to live in America, are they not also Americans? I do not think that it matters if you are White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, or Oriental, only that you chose to live here Legally and that you call yourself and American. Why then do we dilute our National identity by breaking it up into racially segrrated names like Asian-American, African-American, Mexican-American and so on and so forth? Do we not all live in the same land? and same Country? I my neighborhood, we are very diverse with whites, blacks, asians, indians and latinos and we all visit and do not ware Ethnic titles. SO what I am getting at is WHY do we have to dilute our country to satisfy a certain racial group? In Europe for one place, i have never heard of someone being called an Africa-European... I think that we are all American that are here LEGALY and that want a better place to live and work in PEACE. I think that is stupid for us to label and segrate OUR NATIONAL identity as Americans into Racial Nametags. In the end, it will only weaken our society and we will become no more than a Rich 3rd world country. Just my American Opinion...
