Grass Seed Forest?

Grass Seed Forest?, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I took this today in the front yard of my house. Some of the grass is going to seed and i laid in the yard to get this shot. I brought the grass into sharp focus by adjusting the apature and f/stop. I took it in HD Aspect Ratio to get more of the scene and in B/W for the color contrast.

For Father's Day, my Daughter got me the Case Logic 6'' Flexible Tripod that i wanted! It is just like the Gorilla Pod and it works the same for much less. I am very happy and it is really neat!

All have a good rest of the day...

Korean Memorial at Night

Korean Memorial at Night, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I love the Korean War Memorial! It is my favorite on at night. I wish that i will have the time to go and take it with a tripod and get a good night photo. I don't know if that is going to happen. You can tell the pain on their face as they walk in the muck and mud. They just hulk around doing a job...

A Day at the Museum..., originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I took this when we went to the National Museum of Natural History in DC several weeks ago. I love the architecture and the domes in the evening light. It looks like the Grand Central Station that is located in DC as well. The way the shapes join and the colors are very earthly in shade.
