2 Little Lambs...

2 Little Lambs..., originally uploaded by RMStringer.

Two lambs playing and grazing in a pasture that i saw while going to Troy Illinois on Saturday Morning. I made a mental note to myself to stop and take some photos there on my way back home.

No One Fishing

No One Fishing, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

Taken off the Troy O Fallon Highway on Saturday Afternoon. I used my 70-300mm lens to get this photo. I love the bench on the dock with the boat behind it. It is a sign that we are still in Winter, moving to the Spring time. Soon, people will be sitting on the bench and using the boat to catch fish out of the pond.

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 210 mm

Down The Wall 1

Down The Wall 1, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

This photo, for some reason, reminds me of an old movie back in the 1970s called "The French Connection" at the end of the movie where the man is running through an open building somewhat like this.

Exposure: 0.2 sec (1/5)
Aperture: f/11.0
Focal Length: 22 mm

DSC07957, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

The item that he is welding is a big. It is about 12' by 18' and it is for a porch on a building. It has slates that go on the inside. It blocks the Sun, not a traditional cover that does not let the Sunlight come through. I used my Minolta 50mm f/1.7 for this photograph.

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)

No Flash used in this photo. I used the Quantaray 70-300mm for this photo. This lens is sharp as a tack in the f/8 to f/11 range. For the money, I can not beat it plus you get a 1:2 Macro in the 180-300mm range at 4 feet. The light was not blow out in this photo as i had the Lens Hood on it. I love the rubble on the floor with the moss growing all over it. At this f/Stop, this lens has a great Depth Of Field.

Exposure: 0.25 sec (1/4)
Aperture: f/9.0
