Sandy Creek Park 1.1
Sandy Creek Park off of Main Street in Jasper Texas. Taken using the Sony 18-70mm Lens in a 16:9 Aspect Ratio at different lengths of time. I used the Opteka Timer Remote Control and a Tri-Pod to take the photos. I used an "On The Fly" Custom White Balance on this set of photo to cut out the Orange glow from the High Pressure Sodium Lighting that is used in this park. It is the first time that i have ever done this. I was very impressed with the results.
This photo was taken with the 2500k G3 Custom White Balance settings but in Spot Metering Mode. Just trying out different settings with the camera. I did not use a White Card to calibrate the camera to get the custom color setting. I just pointed it out into the night and i got the setting.

Bee Crop
I took this when i lived in Midlothian Virginia. Great cropped photo.
I cropped the original photo to zoom onto the Be better. Here it is! The resolution is just amazing with my A200. No distortion from the original to the cropped photo. look at the clarity of the bee in contrast to the surroundings and notice you cannot see his wings frozen.

Chain Malle Fashion Show
Chain Malle Fashion Show at the 35th Texas Renaissance Festival: The Texas Renaissance Festival is one of the nation's largest, most acclaimed renaissance theme parks where the sights, sounds, tastes and, beauty of the 16th Century are featured.
This panorama is made from 6 individual photos taken using the Quantaray LD 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Tele-Macro Lens. It was stitched together using Panorama Maker 3.0.
Forrest 1.2
Taken in the Angelina National Forrest off of HWY 63 West in 16:9 Aspect Ratio using the Sony 18-70mm Lens after about 3 inches of rain today. You can see the foliage starting to change.
It was raining while i was taking this photo. I have driven by this several times and wanted to take photos, today was the day. You can see Forrest Ferns and other foliage starting to change colors due to the Autumn Season approaching. It was very cool and wet with a temp of 56 DegF which is very cool for this early in the season in SE Texas.

Lake Sam Rayburn facing North with strong wing and blowing rain. You can see the "White Caps" on the water from the wind blowing. Taken in 16:9 Aspect Ratio using the Quantaray 70-300mm Tele-Macro Lens
Pictured in the center is Rattlesnake Island. Look at the waves, There was a strong North Wind blowing and rain as well. The temp was about 56 DegF, cool and blustery weather for Se Texas. I would not want to be out on the lake during this king of weather.

DSC06171: Work 2.4
I think that this photo is perhaps even better than the Work 2.7 photo. The color and lighting is brilliant on this photo. The bright arc is not overpowering any of the photo and you can see the orange glow of the lights in the metal shot reflecting on the metal to the left of the weld. The orange glow on the inside of the pipe si from the hot metal penetrating the pipe and welding it together.
Exposure: 0.067 sec (1/15)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 60 mm
ISO Speed: 400
MIG Welding: A Close Up
Where as this is not a "macro" photo, it is a close up photo of a craftsman using a MIG welding gun to finish fabricating the metal together. I love the little sparks flying all over the place and the smoke rising out from in between the two pieces of metal. The bright arc lights up the interior of the item so he can see what he is welding through his helmet. You can see marks and scars on the table from many years of work being done on it.

Sandy Creek Park 1.5
Sandy Creek Park located on Marvin Hancock Drive and stretching over to Main Street in Jasper Texas. Shot in 16:9 Aspect Ratio with the Sony 18-70mm lens.
I like the reflection in the water of the trees and sky. We had over 5 inches of rain on Thursday and this water is some left over.

Sandy Creek Park 1.2
Sandy Creek Park located on Marvin Hancock Drive and stretching over to Main Street in Jasper Texas. Shot in 16:9 Aspect Ratio.
I love the contrast in the light and dark shadows in the photo. The sky was very blue with no clouds in the sky. It was sort of a hard photo to get in those conditions. The park is very nice looking and it was a pleasant day for a walk and some photo opportunities.

Sandy Creek Park located on Marvin Hancock Drive and stretching over to Main Street in Jasper Texas. Shot in 16:9 Aspect Ratio.
I was not sure that i wanted to post this photo. I did no post processing of it, only adjustments to the Sony a200. The contrast is really high between the light and shadows cast on the water by the trees.

North West Wind 1.2
Lake Sam Rayburn after a Cold Front came through the area. It looks to be about 3-4 feet swells coming out of the Northwest. Photo was taken off of FMR 255 West using the Sony 18-70mm Lens in 16:9 Aspect Ratio.
Another installment in the cold dismal weather that can happen on Lake Sam Rayburn during the Fall and Winter months. The lake can get very rough and violent in a matter of a few minutes when the wind and weather changes.
