I took this yesterday 4.12.2008 at 1.06pm after it had stopped raining. It turned out very neat with the reflection and the flash firing. I took this in Macro setting. The photo is very clear and you can see the cracks in the wood. We used a "Red Wood" colored stain and a seal coat on the pressure treated timbers.

I took this on 4.11.2008 at 10.26pm. It has a very CGI look to me. It was also shot in Vivid Mode. It has a very ethereal look to it.

I took this at the entrance to my subdivision. I think that this one came out better then the first photo that i posted.

I took this at the entrance to my subdivision. I set the camera to Apature Priority. It is a look that i have seen in several photos in the Flickr Groups that i am in. I hope to be able to find a real waterfall and try this again. I guess that i came out fine as it had the cloudy look that other photos that i have looked at have.

This was taken in Vivid Mode as well. You can see the green grass and light from the windows hitting it. You can also see stars above the houses as well.. I am just amazed at the depth and clarity that i can achieve with this camera. I think that is by far the best Night Photo that i have taken to date.
Exposure: 30 sec (30)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 18 mm

I took this in the backyard just playing around with the settings of the camera. I also had the setting on Vivid Mode on the Manual Program. I am learning about the F/Stop setting and how they react with the light and camera settings. I am also trying different ISO settings when i take photos at night. You can also see a few stars above the houses.

1985...This remindes me of Rhinestones in Beaumont and K106fm. They played live from the clubs there and also from Starz in Vinton Louisiana.
This is a great track. Has a real Nirvana feel to it...
I took these at different places around St Louis. See the reflection of The Old Courthouse in the building?

I love the color in the plant. It was shot at a high ISO speed(3200) but there is not a lot of noise in the photo. The flash was a little bright on this pic, but the sun was not out.

I took this today. I thought that the rain drops were really cool on the blade.I used the MACRO mode on my cam. I focused in on the drops and let everything else be out of focus.

It has been a while since my last text post. I was away in St Louis for 7 days with daughter and wife. We did the sights and saw the town so to speak. We went into the Arch. We went to the zoo on a very cold and kind of felt jilted. When we arrived there, not many of the animals were out due to the temperature. We did manage to see a few cheetahs but they were far back in their cages. I barked at them and they looked straight at us. Some people near us laughed and then took the opportunity to shoot a few pics. They did not run to us and jump over the fence. The Elephants were out and we go lots of pics of them. We went to the Penguin area and it was really good, perhaps the best I have been to. At some other parts of the zoo, more animals were out. It was warmer by then.
We then went to the St Louis Museum of Science. IT was really good and had lots of hands on stuff to do. I took a many pics and I posted one of the mummy that they had on display. Here is the link to one of the three pics of that. http://renigade.blogspot.com/2008/03/mummy_2860.html IF you ever make it to St Louis, go there. It is a neat building that stretches over I64. Really cool.
Another day, we did the Anheuser-Busch brewery tour and it was really neat. They took us to several different places in the plant. We went to one of the production lines and were told that 1200 bottles a minute were processed and that another line had 2000 cans a minute!! That is a lot of beer! I did not realize all the products that they made. The factory was very old and it was free. Yeah.
So we also went to The Arch! It is 635feet tall and has an observation deck on top. I took several shots from it and made a panorama shot out of them I will post it tonight. The thing looks like a teleportation gateway to another land or dimension. We also went to the Old Court House. That is where the Dred Scott case was heard back in 1857. The courthouse is framed with the Arch in the back of it. I did a post of this pic several days ago. Here is the link: http://renigade.blogspot.com/2008/04/old-courthouse-in-st-louis.html
I have now returned to normal living. I went to the gym after being off for 2 weeks. I got my butt KICKED tonight. I was sick when I returned from St Louis as was wife and daughter. We got in on last Thursday and then had to go to Myrtle Beach SC for a cheer competition and we were there all last weekend returning on Sunday night at 10.30pm, tired and a little worse for the road. We all now feel better and are almost well.
I am going to close for now…
All have a good night.

I took this at the base of the Arch in St Louis. It is a truly enormous monument to stand beside. It is taller than The Washington monument and The Statue Of Liberty. This was a hard pic to take due to the size. Look at the people standing at the base of it.
F/10 ISO100 Exposure 1/500 Focal 18mm
This is our CRAZY CAT!! I was playing around with the cam last night and i took this pic in RAW mode.
This was taken in RAW mode as well. F13.0 ISO100 Shutter 1/250 sec. I took the pic at 7.12pm It was taken in a 16:9 HD Aspect Ratio. The lake is Swift Creek Reservoir. I used the Sunset Setting on the cam as well.
I was walking around looking for something to shoot today and i found this Tulip. This one is an up close shot. F5.6 Shutter Speed: 1/100 sec, Focal 60mm, ISO320
