Me in bike gear.

A friend took this for me after my ride. i got in 10.55 miles in this heat across the dam and back.

Green Spider!!

I used my Componon to take this Macro photo. I was out looking at roses that were blooming and i just happened to see the green spider on it. I got the focus correct for my "Do It Yourself" Macro lens and this is what i got!! He was not really that big and i was like about 8-10 inches from him.

With the Componon sitting on the top of the kit lens, i can only adjust the main focal length to get somewhere close to the correct focal point. Then have to back up a little to bring it in to clear focus. It has a very shallow DOF when using this lens. When i place the 18-70mm lens somewhere around the 40mm mark i get the best clarity and focus.

Another photo taken of the North bound lanes of HWY59. Taken from the Dunlavy overpass oriented North and South. I was looking East but it is the North Bound lane of HWY 59.
