National Audio-Visual Conservation Center

Picture 075, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I worked here for a while living in Virginia.

The $120 million Library of Congress National Audio-Visual Conservation Center consolidates audio-visual collections
from four states and the District of
Columbia into the world’s largest and
most comprehensive collection of moving
images and sound recordings.
The 415,000-sq.-ft. project involves
the adaptive reuse of a former Cold War
bunker built into a hillside.
