Sandy Creek Park 1.0a

Sandy Creek Park 1.0a, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

The 2 photos “Sandy Creek Park 1.0a and 1.0b were taken using the different White Balance settings to demonstrate how this works in camera. This is what you really see using the Auto White Balance settings. Sandy Creek Park off of Main Street in Jasper Texas. Taken using the Sony 18-70mm Lens in a 16:9 Aspect Ratio at different lengths of time. I used the Opteka Timer Remote Control and a Tri-Pod to take the photos. I used Auto White Balance on this photo and it showed the Orange glow from the High Pressure Sodium Lighting that is used in this park. It is the first time that i have ever done this. I was very impressed with the results.

Bee Crop

Bee Crop, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I took this when i lived in Midlothian Virginia. Great cropped photo.

I cropped the original photo to zoom onto the Be better. Here it is! The resolution is just amazing with my A200. No distortion from the original to the cropped photo. look at the clarity of the bee in contrast to the surroundings and notice you cannot see his wings frozen.

Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/5.6
