Sandy Creek Park 1.1

Sandy Creek Park 1.1, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

Sandy Creek Park off of Main Street in Jasper Texas. Taken using the Sony 18-70mm Lens in a 16:9 Aspect Ratio at different lengths of time. I used the Opteka Timer Remote Control and a Tri-Pod to take the photos. I used an "On The Fly" Custom White Balance on this set of photo to cut out the Orange glow from the High Pressure Sodium Lighting that is used in this park. It is the first time that i have ever done this. I was very impressed with the results.

This photo was taken with the 2500k G3 Custom White Balance settings but in Spot Metering Mode. Just trying out different settings with the camera. I did not use a White Card to calibrate the camera to get the custom color setting. I just pointed it out into the night and i got the setting.

Bee Crop

Bee Crop, originally uploaded by RMStringer.

I took this when i lived in Midlothian Virginia. Great cropped photo.

I cropped the original photo to zoom onto the Be better. Here it is! The resolution is just amazing with my A200. No distortion from the original to the cropped photo. look at the clarity of the bee in contrast to the surroundings and notice you cannot see his wings frozen.
