Taken using the Minolta 50mm f/1.7 Prime lens at work the other day. He is using a MIG welding rig to weld on aluminum. I love how the light is very soft and not harsh, illuminating his shirt

Angle View
No Flash used in this photo. I used the Quantaray 70-300mm for this photo. This lens is sharp as a tack in the f/8 to f/11 range. For the money, I can not beat it plus you get a 1:2 Macro in the 180-300mm range at 4 feet. The light was not blow out in this photo as i had the Lens Hood on it. I love the rubble on the floor with the moss growing all over it. At this f/Stop, this lens has a great Depth Of Field.
