Taken With The Minolta 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5 Lens.

I have taken this photo before several times. I love the way the light spills through the blinded window and the dark negative space to the left of the lava lamp. I used a high f/stop number to get the sharpness that i desired for the Depth Of Field in this photo as well. Some people do not like the pole in the photo but i do as i think it helps break the photo up. The ambient light is very soft coming through the lamp.

"The New Ground Floor" Bar in Belleville, IL

It is a fun little bar located on Main Street. It is a nice venue to see local band live with good acoustics and nice patrons.
