Green Spider!!
I used my Componon to take this Macro photo. I was out looking at roses that were blooming and i just happened to see the green spider on it. I got the focus correct for my "Do It Yourself" Macro lens and this is what i got!! He was not really that big and i was like about 8-10 inches from him.
With the Componon sitting on the top of the kit lens, i can only adjust the main focal length to get somewhere close to the correct focal point. Then have to back up a little to bring it in to clear focus. It has a very shallow DOF when using this lens. When i place the 18-70mm lens somewhere around the 40mm mark i get the best clarity and focus.

Herman Park 1.6
Taken All Around Houston Texas on Friday Night, August 14, 2009.
Reflecting Pool at Herman Park. This was a 59 second exposure of the Reflecting pool. I love how the light just POPS!! It is, in my opinion, right at the edge of being over exposed. I used the 18-70mm Kit lens and the wireless shutter release in BULB mode. I use a very low ISO for this long exposure.

50mm f/1.7 1.6: Sirius Receiver
I was just messing around using the Minolta 50mm lens taking random shots in the dark with it. I have the camera in BULB mode and i was about 18 inches from the Sirius Unit. It was total darkness in my room. The lens is just amazing in almost no light. I do not use it enough, I should though. It has superb photo characteristics.

50mm f/1.7 1.4 Cattalya Orchid
I used the Minolta 50mm f/1.7 Prime lens to take this photo. It has an amazing Depth Of Field at about 18 inches from the bloom and the Bokeh is wonderful. The color using the lens is outstanding!!!
